As in the past two years, many of the planned visits were disrupted either by the weather, or because no members were able to attend. See also the full list of species seen analysed by visit in a separate document with some of the less common species highlighted.
During 2025 we welcomed three new u3a members to the group, Peter D, Linda and Judith, and at the start of this year another new u3a member, Martin, has joined and we look forward to welcoming him.
In November former leader Peter H and his wife Barbara moved to North Wales to be close to family. Peter and I acted as joint leaders for many years until his health forced him to take a back seat, but he still enjoyed coming on group visits whenever he felt able. We wish Peter and Barbara all the best for the future.
