Membership – Joining and Renewing
Joining the u3a
We are a self-help, member-run organisation for the enhancement of knowledge and well-being, particularly in mature people and those retired from full time work. Members share their knowledge, skills and experience in a variety of ways through meetings, talks, social events and special interest groups – all in a friendly, relaxed environment.
In joining the u3a, you should be aware of the following:
- the Constitution of Aughton & Ormskirk u3a
- the Terms and Conditions of membership
- our Privacy Statement.
You can join online, by post or in person.
Please contact the group leader before you attend any group for the first time. If you are joining our u3a just to attend one specific group, make sure there is space for you before you commit to membership. There are, however, many other groups you could try.
Our membership year starts on 1 October each year.
Membership will be due for renewal for ALL members on 30 September, even if you joined part way through the year.
