The Third Age Trust – the National representative body for u3as in the UK. It underpins the work of local u3as by providing educational and administrative support to their management committees and to individual members and assists in the development of new u3as across the UK. Membership of The Third Age Trust is a requirement in order to use the u3a name and logo.
At a national level, the u3a Trust provides:

Sign up for the national u3a Friends Newsletter - All u3a members can receive this monthly by email
Regional Network
The North West Region of u3as – Aughton & Ormskirk is in the North West Region. This Region includes the counties of Cheshire, Cumbria, and Lancashire plus the Metropolitan Boroughs within Greater Manchester and Merseyside and all contiguous Unitary Authorities. Follow the links to the events NW Region organises and runs, its newsletters and other documents.
There are 2 Council Representatives for the North West one of which is Aughton & Ormskirk Member David Blanchflower. Council Representatives are the conduit between the National u3a Board and the wider membership.
