Film ‘Me Before You’, a 2016 romantic drama with Emilia Clarke, Sam Claflin, Janet McTeer, Charles Dance, and Brendan Coyle.

Two of our u3a members, Liz and Megan, provided an entertaining quiz and some helpful information about recycling. This was followed of course by our usual refreshments and then Ken Waters who has visited us several times before played the guitar and sang for us to join in.

In June we met up at Primrose Nursery for tea, cake, chat and a wander round. The weather was perfect and we had a great afternoon

Aughton Male Voice Choir performed for us today

This was followed by light refreshments and a quiz

Our very own u3a Guitar Group played for us today.   Another great sing-a-long.

After the refreshment break some of our members told us about their memories of interesting times in their lives.

Our Drama group entertained  us in February with a light hearted comedy Radio Play based on Pride and Prejudice.

A return visit from our wonderful Ukelele group who entertained us with a great range of music.  There was plenty to sing along to.

Not quite Christmas but this was  our last meeting of the year.   We had a  quiz and games and then after our festive refreshments  the excellent local guitarist, Pete Mercer, returned to entertain us.
