Horizons is a weekly "coffee meeting" which is open to allcomers and held 9.30 - 11.00am every Thursday morning at Christ Church Scout & Guide HQ.

By popping into a Horizons Meeting, you can find out what we do in u3a and maybe start to think about if you might like to take up this "Learn, Laugh, Live" opportunity in your retirement years.

Joining may just help you enjoy a happier and therefore possibly a healthier Third Age.

At the Horizons Meetings, you can:

• learn about Aughton & Ormskirk u3a at the Welcome Desk
• enjoy light refreshments while chatting to old friends and making new ones
• join the u3a and renew membership at the Membership Desk
• be informed about the latest u3a news and events
• meet some Group Leaders and Management Committee members
• attend one of our interesting and varied monthly Speaker Meetings
• book/purchase places/tickets for our social, group and other events and visits
• get help with your digital camera, computer, tablet or smartphone problems
• browse the Book Stall for reading material and the Card Making Group Display for lovely, hand-made cards to purchase
