Backgammon is one of the oldest known boardgames and is the most widespread Western member of the large family of tables games, whose ancestors date back nearly 5,000 years to the regions of Mesopotamia and Persia.
Backgammon Group warmly welcomes complete beginners to the game and returners alike.
You don’t need your own backgammon set but if you do have one, you can bring it along.
Backgammon shares the Small Hall (the Aughton Room) with the following "Indoor Games" Groups and members are able to join in their sessions. Contact their Leader if you need further information.
