Yoga

Yoga is recommended as a way to relax and keep supple by the medical profession. It includes physical movements and postures, skilled and precise breathing techniques, properly constructed mental concentration and safe and effective relaxation exercises. Each session of Yoga is constructed to contain these elements. Yoga is good for everyone, from the earliest years right through to full maturity and old age. It can be adapted to individual needs.

A Message from the Group Leader

PLEASE NOTE:  The Yoga class is currently full and we have a short waiting list.  If you are interested in trying Yoga, or possibly returning to the group, do please contact Group Leader so that we have your name and contact details.  

Membership of the Group does fluctuate over the months and you shouldn’t have long to wait.  We charge for a course of five sessions at a time, which costs £20 in advance. We review the membership list at the end of each course to maintain the optimum number in the group.   

You will need a yoga mat and loose, comfortable pants and top.

If you are concerned about whether this is suitable for you, please seek advice from your GP or Practice Nurse.
